Photo Contest
Exclusive to VIRAK STUDIO Workshop Participants
This contest is for participants of VIRAK STUDIO workshops!
Each week we have a new topic for aspiring photographers to explore and practice. Submit two photos you took from that workshop for review (one of each model).
Criteria will vary from week to week.
Contest - Sept 23
Hula Dancers
Your photo will be judged on the following criteria:
- Creative Use of Lighting
- Composition (Was it well-composed)?
- Visual interest (does it catch my attention)?
- Use of lighting
Submit up to 2 photos. You may submit 2 photos either model (Rachael or Connie) or 2 of the same model with different outfits.
Submitted photos must be UNEDITED. Cropping NOT allowed. Workshops are intended to focus on the elements of STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY and NOT post-production. Although post-production has its merits, this contest is designed to push photographers to get it "right in camera."
Entries must be received no later than Saturday, September 28 at 11:00pm. No Fee to submit. Please submit in JPEG format. Submitted photos will be used/critiqued in a YouTube video.
