aboutVIRAK
In 2012, I left my 8-year tenure in Finance and Real Estate to turn my hobbies into a profession. It hasn't been easy but I have been doing it full-time ever since!
My love of personal freedom led me to pursue a career in the arts: dance and photography. From 2012 - 2018 I taught ballroom dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studios, Crown Dance Studio, Fred Astaire and Independently.
My experience in the dance industry should explain why many of my photography subjects are dancers. As a dancer myself, I understand the nuisances of photographing movement.
In February, 2020, I opened my first official commercial location for VIRAK STUDIO, offering portrait photography and more. Due to Covid, we began to offer live streaming and video projects. At VIRAK STUDIO, I taught weekly educational workshops on various studio photography topics. In 2025, my lease expired and I chose to not renew to prioritize time with family and travel the world (we have a Travel YouTube channel)!
I generally avoid working Sundays as I volunteer at large church and direct the live broadcast, operate cameras and allow the Lord to use my talents to further spread the gospel.
